Broken Capillaries or Thread Veins as they are more commonly known appear on the face around the nose and cheek areas. They can appear as a result of a number of different things including sun damage and excess pressure on the skin. Although they can appear on any skin type, it tends to be more obvious on people with pale complexions. As you get older and the skin becomes thinner these broken capillaries or thread veins can become more obvious. It then becomes a daily chore to try and cover these up to make your skin look as natural as possible.
How do you treat Broken Capillaries (Thread Veins)?
I am trained to use advanced electrolysis which uses the heat from an electric current to treat minor skin conditions and offers one of the most pain-free approaches to treatment with minimal side effects and is one of the most popular treatments on the market today for thread veins.
Before I begin the treatment, I will meet with you for a consultation to discuss what will happen and plan your treatment.
When you come in for your treatment, the area to be treated will be cleansed and you can then lie back and relax while I treat damaged capillaries. Your comfort and safety is my priority and so the eyes will be covered so there will be no risk of damage.
In the majority of cases, one treatment is all that is required to treat a small area, but a follow up appointment may be necessary if the damage is more severe.
As with all treatments for minor skin imperfections, I offer a free, confidential and no obligation consultation to discuss the procedure and answer any questions or concerns you may have. To book you initial consultation with me at my clinic in Kenilworth, please contact me or call me on 07827 322 040.
We help clients from all over Warwickshire and the West Midlands with Thread Veins, including Kenilworth, Leamington Spa, Warwick and Coventry.
